Dear colleagues! Dear veterans! The Rescuer Day is a special day for courageous, decent and responsible people. And such people do serve in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The result of our activity is estimated by thousands of saved lives every year. Summing up the work of task force and rescue services since the beginning of this year, I would say, we are efficiently carrying out our professional duty and the task we were entrusted with by the President of Ukraine – to protect human lives, rescue and help people. We are ready to deal with emergencies at all times: at night, on holidays and at weekends.
Each of us, regardless of the position and the title, is part of a professional rescue team. We are all united into one huge seventy-five thousand collective of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. We are all connected not only due to our job and the System of Civil Protection, what unites us even more is the sense of responsibility, honor and dignity. Rescuers have all reasons to be proud of their profession because by their courage and willingness to help others they gained the trust and respect of the people.
Dear colleagues! Thank you all – without exception – for your decency, courage and heroism in the performance of professional tasks.
I wish you and your loved ones excellent health and welfare, family comfort and cordiality.
Let the professionalism, honesty and decency of each rescuer be a solid foundation for the successful development of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as well as of the prosperity of our country.
Have a nice celebration!
