Cadets of Vinnitsa College of the Lviv State University of Life Safety stifled the fire in the residential house

On November 5 routine rhythm of life in the city was broken by special signals of fire engines. Around the 1 p.m. a fire broke out on the ninth floor. The rescuers of the second, third and fifth fire departments and educational fire and rescue department of Higher Vocational School of Lviv State University of Life Safety arrived at address in a matter of minutes. Lying of the hose lays for water supply was tasked to designated alert detachment of the college. The task was complicated by the fact that it was necessary to pump water on the ninth floor of the house. High air temperature on the higher floors demanded from rescuers high physical hardiness and endurance. Fighting of the rescuers with the fire lasted about an hour. The main task was completed, threat to the life of citizens has been eliminated, material losses are estimated only financially. Designated alert detachment comprised of Shift-Head Oleg Bihas, cadets Anatoliy  Cops, Victor Mamutenko and student Mykola Lisovolyk properly coped with the task.
