Scientists of the University were involved in international investigative project in the area of human safety
Lviv State University of Life Safety was visited by professor Z. Yegingil (Turkey) and professor S. Ubizskyi (Ukraine) who realize investigative project «New dosimetry for establishing care assistance sequence for people who were affected by ionizing emission» which is as a part of NATO programme «Science for the sake of peace and safety».
“Senior lecturer from the department of fire tactics and fire-rescue operations D. Chalyi participates in this project. Obtained decisions will be transferred to educational institution in order to use them in new technologies introduction of accident dosimetry of people who were affected by radiation, and for rescuers’ training. As a part of a programme it is given support for practical scientific and technical collaboration between scientists and experts from NATO countries and state-partners,” said pro-rector of the university Taras Rak.
Wide range of themes in the area of security which include defense against terrorist threats and reaction to safety challenges is meant.
