The visual aid room dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Famine in Ukraine took place in the university

​The event dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of Famine in Ukraine was held in the university on November 22, 2013. Department of Ukrainian Studies prepared and performed movie lecture centre «James Mays’ candle». The tragic page in Ukrainian history raised through the prism of American figure with Ukrainian heart, historian and political analyst James Mays, who in the 80s of XX century told the truth to the world about planned genocide against the Ukrainian nation, and came to Ukraine in 90s, stayed here and devoted himself to the study of new facts about one of the world biggest tragedies.
