"The athletic games" were held at Lviv State University of Life Safety

     The "Athletic games" at the University on December 8, 2013 were held between the teams oftraining units of the first and third year cadets of the Firefighting and  Industrial Safety Institute, Humanities Department and Institute of Civil Defence.
      The organizators of the event were council of the cadets and student government of Lviv State University of Life Safety in cooperation with the specially-rescue training department and physical education, as well as the department of educational work and social protection.
      Games consisted of three main stages, which included a variety of relay races and an implementation of gaming and physical exercises.There were such games as jumping in sacks, kettlebell lifting, walking on hands, tug of war, pulling up on the crossbeam, shuttle run, juggling a soccer ball, hitting into the basket with ball, and other. That means that each of the participants was able to demonstrate his physical qualities, agility, savvy and fortitude.

Based on the results of the competition the teams took the following places:
· The first place obtained the third year cadets of Firefighting and Industrial Safety Institute.
· The second place got the second year cadets of the Institute of Civil Defence.
· The third place gained first year cadets of Firefighting and Industrial Safety Institute.
