Faculty of pre-University training and postgraduate education provides training for workers of State Emergency Service of Ukraine
At the Faculty of pre-University training and postgraduate education of Lviv State University of Life Safety on 16 - 28 December chiefs (assistants) of the regular changes of Operational and Coordination Center, senior inspectors (specialists) during work with staff as well as chiefs of liaison office with mass media and Public Information Cell improved their qualification and specialization.
Trainees pass theoretical and practical training course on the base of operative-dispatching service of the Main Department Operational and Coordination Center of SES of Ukraine in Lviv region at Lviv enterprises and establishments with occupied public gathering places in order to deepen professional knowledge. In particular, the experience of software implementation for "112 service" functioning is studied.
At psychological and training target range, which works on the basis of educational Fire and Rescue department of the University, were carried out lessons on 25 December for trainees. Audience was familiarized with the modern fire and rescue equipment which is used by EFRD (Educational fire and rescue department) units during emergency response and fire extinguishing. Each trainee got a wonderful possibility to pass special training for work in emergency situations and overcome labyrinth with the obstacles and climbing irons of different constructs. During such trainings with the help of light, sound and smoke effects the conditions of emergency situations, accidents and fires maximum parsimony to real extreme situations are simulated.
