A first-year student Olha Komarnytska became Ukrainain karate champion
February 15-16, 2014 in Lutsk, Ukrainian Championship of traditional and contact karate took place.
A first-year student Olha Komarnytska who is studying at our University in "Philology (English-Ukrainian translation)" participated in the competition. She won the gold medal and become the champion of Ukraine in karate-do (IKA) section kata, women 18 +.
At competitions held at the sports complex of Volyn Regional Lyceum of advanced military and physical training in general came 243 participants comprised of 24 teams from 18 regions of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Federation of Japan Karate Association and the Federation of Ukrainian contact karate (Bogu Budo ) were the organizers of the tournament.
