200th anniversary from the day on which Taras Shevchenko was born: literaly and musical composition “Kateryna”

Literary and Musical Composition of “Kateryna (Catherine)”(extract from  the poem) was held in Culture and Education center of the University. Oksana Germanovych, lecturer of the department of applied psychology and pedagogy, was the organizer and director of the event.

Shevchenko as a great and eternal phenomenon- is inexhaustible and infinite. He is continued by the history of the native country, representing mentality of the Ukrainian nation, responding to new feelings and thought, becomes the center of spiritual elevation and moral forces of personalities who not by chance get acquainted with his work.
Cadets and students, inspired by brilliant works of Kobzar, transmitted life wisdom laid down in the content of the poem "Cateryna". Making social reflection of particularly relevant Shevchenko’s word,   the extremely deep image of the mother-martyr and wider- of Ukraine were highlighted with a wide range of feelings, with heartfelt warmth.
Yuriy Pavlyuk, vice-rector of Human Resources, colonel of civil protection service, at the end of the solemn event emphasized the importance of going through life with Kobzar at heart for it always to resurrect in our noble thoughts and matters of state.
