Dear cadets and students, academic staff, the workers and employees of educational institutions of civil defense!
On behalf of State Emergency Service of Ukraine let me sincerely congratulate you on the beginning of the new academic year and the Day of Knowledge.
Historically, the beginning of a new school year is a holiday, which has never lost its relevance, special emotionality and elevated atmosphere. This is a holiday for those who routinely and consistently strives to improvement, development and enriching their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The conditions, in which our rescuers have to work today, without exaggeration can be called exceptional: there are fires and accidents on enterprises, industrial objects, there are natural disasters, and a huge amount of work in the areas liberated during anti-terrorist operations, in particular, the clearing of explosive ordnance and elimination of consequences of the destruction of objects of social sphere.
Therefore, during the studying in the institutions of civil defense each of you have to conscientiously master theoretical and practical knowledge, do their best to learn the profession of a rescuer, justify the dreams of parents and important mission - to protect the population of Ukraine from emergency situations.
I wish all of you good health, inspiration, strong determination, perseverance on the path to knowledge.
