Rescuer’s day Celebrations in Lviv State University of Life Safety
A lot of activities to celebrate the Rescuer’s day were held in Lviv State University of Life Safety on September, 17. There has been a liturgy on the occasion of Rescuer’s day where university administration, academic staff, workers, cadets and students of university were present.
Also, after liturgy the flowers were put to the monument to heroes engaged in liquidation of the Chornobyl disaster and rescuers who were killed in the line of duty. The rector of the university Mykhailo Kozyar congratulates the university staff:” Risking their lives and health the workers of our Service give people hope and confidence in the next day. Thousands of our fellow citizens look hopefully in rescuer’s eyes every day. Dear cadets and students, you have chosen not only a profession but also the life style, where you can not be indifferent to somebody’s grief and trouble. Your successful studying will be the guaranty of citizen’s safety in future. Addressing academic staff I want to emphasize, that the effectiveness of our services depends on you. Teaching future rescuers, implementing the scientific discoveries you make a considerable contribution to the development of state civil defense. Today SES of Ukraine is integral, active, reliable mechanism. This is a Service where people work for people. That is their great and grand mission.”
