Lviv State University of Life Safety presented at the forum of publishers for the first time

The21^st forum of  publisher started working in Lviv, on 11th September. For the first time in the forum’s history, LvivState University of Life Safety took part in its work. Educational institution of the State Service of Ukraine of Emergencies presented publications, scientific and educational achievements.At the opening of the forum pro-rector of the University Taras Rak told us about the latest scientific achievements and educational publications which are used for training experts in the human security area: ‘Proactive character of education is a basic of our university. Research and educational staff is actively involved in the improvement and development of fire-rescue equipment and technology, provides consultations during the liquidation of large-scale emergencies, and participates actively in the development and implementation of national wide and European mechanisms of prevention and protection from various hazards. Experts of the educational institution also make a significant contribution to the creation of a legislative framework for civil defense area.’  There are traditionally a variety of artistic events which are able interested all categories of book-lovers. It was crowded that day as on the presentation of the book of memories about Patriarchate Joseph Blind, and on the meeting over coffee with writer Sergei Zhadanov.  During working the Lviv Forum, from 11th to 14th September, will be held 960 cultural events: roundtables, discussions, readings, presentations, autograph sessions. Traditionally at the Forum will be a book fair, a solemn ceremony of the Book Award "Best Book Forum 2014» , children's reading festival "Knyhomaniya", charity event "The third age: the pleasure from reading", festival "Young Poets Republic ", "Night of Poetry and Music", Lviv library forum. Volunteers will collect books for libraries of Donbas during the Forum of Publishers on the Book Fair and in libraries of the city. Event will be held under the motto: "Give the Ukrainian book to the Ukrainian Donbas". Lviv International Literary Festival is the main event of the Forum and one of the biggest literary events of the central eastern Europe. The festival invited 370 authors from Ukraine and 25 from the others countries such as Austria, Belarus, Great Britain, Poland, Slovakia, Russia, France, Czech Republic, Finland, Georgia, etc..
