University Displays Modern firefighting and rescue equipment used by cadets
On September 13, as part of celebrations on the occasion of oath taking by first-year cadets of Lviv State University of Live safety modern firefighting and rescue vehicles and equipment used by firefighting and rescue units of the institution as well as by the units of SES of Ukraine in Lviv region, were demonstrated.
Anton Kryk, representative of the SES institution, said that in recent years, Lviv State University of Life safety considerably deepened the European vector of Ukraine's cooperation in the field of human safety. Many large-scale international projects have been implemented and the close cooperation with most countries in Western and Eastern Europe have been established.
A.Kryk mentioned: “International cooperation involves integration of Ukrainian civil defense system in Europe-wide mechanism for human security, adaptation of Ukrainian specialists to work with the international security system, development of common methods and approaches to the elimination of various emergencies, especially those of cross-border nature. Through cooperation we were able to get modern firefighting and rescue equipment for training highly qualified specialists”
Also, cadets and officers demonstrated elements of combat rescue. In particular, visitors could get acquainted with the work of modern mobile training facility to prepare fire Mobil Trainer ML 2000, which does not have any analogues in Ukraine.
