University Staff Celebrates the Virgin of Mercy And the 67th Anniversary of Institution (video)
Today, the Patronage of Holy Virgin feast is celebrated in Lviv State University of Life Safety. This day is special for all those who are working and studying at the University, as well as for our veterans because on October, 14 institution turns 67 years old.
The entire staff of the university came to a festive liturgy in the Church of the Patronage of Holy Virgin. Father Roman Velykyi, who is prior of the Church together with other priests invited to the feast conducted the church service.
Head of university Mychaylo Koziar congratulated the staff, cadets and students, visitors on feast and University anniversary. "Thank to all those who have been giving their knowledge, wisdom and vigour to create one of the best Europe's institutions of higher education that prepares highly skilled specialists, who are capable to perform the most important function of the state declared by the Constitution of Ukraine– ensuring the life and health of citizens as higher social factors. Examples of heroism, self-denial, courage, determination and high professionalism of our University graduates during emergencies elimination is the best evidence of significant contribution to the establishment and strengthening of our country ," noted Mychailo Koziar.
