On November, 27 a very interesting presentation of several films about Lviv was held. Their author - a former employee of the University - Internal Service Colonel, Head of recruitment and military service of the Department of Human Resources, artist and amateur filmmaker, a member of one of the first lineup of music band "flaming heart", a man passionately in love with Lviv - Sergiy Tkachenko. He was introduced by the Head of the Department of Social and humanitarian work Colonel in Civil Defense. Vasyl Kreschyshyn.
Participants of this presentation watched movies with great interest, "Lviv ... It was so long ago," "Lviv ... Melody of Love", but still the most attention was drawn to the film "Lviv. Old photos.  Kleparivska Street. House for the Disabled”, because it presented rare footage of the University rooms. In all his works, the author used a very interesting artistic technique - filming from the same angle it was filmed many years ago. The effect of this technique - simply spectacular!
Sergiy told about the reviews of movies that come to him from all over the world - from former students (at Fire-Technical College) and from Lviv, which were outside Ukraine. These films arouse sweet memories of their childhood spent in the city of Ukraine.
Films were accompanied by beautiful retro songs at one time known musician in Lviv Bohdan Veselovsky, melodies Victor Morozov, fun "batiar songs" that in Lviv was always very popular. Poetry of great supporters of our city - Vasyl Symonenko and Mykola Vingranovsky - was read by cadets and students, and the words Mr.V.Symonenko "gray city! The capital of my dreams!" somehow became the leitmotif of this meeting.
The author also shared his creative plans - and he had a lot! Everyone applauded Sergiy A. and invited him to present his new work at the University.
