Schools Launch Trainings on Emergency Procedures
On February 3, specialists from the Main Directorate of SES of Ukraine in Lviv region together with the representatives of the Training Centre at Civil Defense and Life Safety in Lviv region held a joint meeting with the cadets of Lviv State University of Life Safety and representatives of "Samopomich Union". This meeting was part of information campaign on public safety in case of an emergency.
Throughout the month, the cadets, volunteers and rescuers will conduct trainings together with high school students and teaching staff of educational institutions of Lviv. Trainings will be conducted according to the plan developed in cooperation with the Department of Education at Lviv City Hall.
Such measures were called for by announcement of the state of emergency in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and increased readiness state in all regions and cities of Ukraine.
During explanatory conversations students and teachers learn about the rules of conduct in case alertic system goes off, in case of anonymous reports of bomb threats or if suspicious objects have been detected. To make the process more interesting we show educational videos about safe behavior in case of emergencies and hand out leaflets.
