Cadets of LSU LS Teach the Children Life Safety Rules

On February 5, graduate psychologists from Institute of Psychology and Social Protection at Lviv State University of life safety Lviv kindergartens №166 and №171. Future rescuers told about safety rules at home and the main causes of fires. In particular, they talked about measures to be taken in case of civil defense warning signal, the notification of mining or suspicious objects detection.
"In addition to the informative talks, children drilled the evacuation procedure in case of fire procedure or other emergencies. Activities carried out in accordance with the plan approved by the Head of pre-school. That plan includes several stages. During the three preparatory phases the theoretical and practical training of all categories of staff was conducted and the system to inform about the dangers were tested. At the fourth stage the evacuation of staff and children was organized.
Such measures were called for by announcement of the state of emergency in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and increased readiness state in all regions and cities of Ukraine.
During explanatory conversations pupils and teachers learn about the rules of conduct in case alertic system goes off, in case of anonymous reports of bomb threats or if suspicious objects have been detected.  To make the process more interesting we show educational videos about safe behavior in case of emergencies and hand out leaflets.
