Within the Framework of Cooperation Program between Educational Institutions of Ukraine and Poland, students visited Krakow and Yaroslav
As part of the educational and cultural cooperation between institutions of higher education in Poland and Ukraine, the students of Lviv State University of Life Safety visited the cities of Yaroslav and Krakow.
"Our first stop was a small but very picturesque town of Yaroslav, where we were warmly greeted by State Higher economic-technical School of B. Markyevych. They introduced us to their institution and features of the curriculum. Then there was a meeting with Ukrainian students who shared their experiences of studying at this university. We also visited the town hall and met with the city council. The mayor greeted us warmly and gave us souvenir books about the landmarks of Yaroslav. Later on we visited Krakow where we discovered different monuments and learned many interesting local legends. The next day we got into a winter wonderland. We visited the Wawel Royal Castle that brought us back to the 15th century. We were especially impressed by the painting of the famous artist Leonardo da Vinci called "Lady with an Ermine". We also visited the Jagiellonian University, which bewitched us with its majesty and spirit of knowledge that prevails there. Overall the trip was very informative, fun and interesting. It was a great opportunity to test your knowledge of the Polish language in practice, "- said the director of the Institute of Psychology and Social Security Bohdan Shunevych.
