Fire-generating device consist of modular container and was designed in the way to meet European standard techniques. Inside the training unit there are mazes, special devices that measure temperature and send the data to a computer.
The rescuers have developed guidelines for the creation of smoke protection equipment using advanced technologies to determine temperature conditions. "Integration of innovative practices in training rescue is a priority of the State Civil Protection Service of Ukraine. Last year academic staff of Lviv State University of life safety worked hard to create smoke protection equipment that would be a prototype of European simulator "- said Associate Professor of fire tactics and rescue operations department at Lviv State University of life safety, Bohdan Shtain.
The main purpose of the training unit is to study the complex dynamics of fire hazards for rescuers to be able to manipulate the temperature flow and volatile combustion products and improve firefighting tactics and rescuing techniques. We should not forget about the psychological training of firefighters, rescue workers, who need to know what to expect when performing tasks.
