First planning conference on joint international exercise of SES NATO-UKRAINE-2015 has been completed (Video)
On May 21 the planning conference on the joint International Exercise of State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Euro-Atlantic Coordination Centre to respond to civil emergencies in the aftermath of emergencies UKRAINE-2015 completed its work in Lviv.
During the four-day meeting, participants of exercise UKRAINE-2015 discussed the organizational aspects, the basic scenario, schedule of the exercise, and toured the area where the international training will be held.
An important part of the issues relating to the organization and co-rescuers were discussed during the meeting of the working groups. Recall that in the groups continued work in the following areas: the main working group, subgroup USAR, subgroup on medicine, radiation, chemical and biological protection, subs Coordination Center operations in the field and on the media.
The head of the Euro-Atlantic Coordination Centre of Emergency Response Gunter Bretshnayder thanked Ukrainian colleagues for the fruitful meeting. He noted that all the goals set of the conference have been achieved. In his turn, Director of Emergency Response Hryhoriy Marchenko also thanked colleagues from NATO for having agreed to take part in the exercises, and expressed confidence in the effectiveness of such training for all participating countries.
