Senior lecturer in foreign languages and technical translation took up training in France

In February 2015  the Lviv State University of Life Safety received an invitation from the police attaché for the French Embassy in Ukraine Gerard Nubelya to participate in internships, which was organized by the International French courses in Rochefort, France. Training was offered to a senior lecturer in foreign languages ​​and technical translation Iryna Popko.

Training was planned under the "Teaching French for law enforcement and civil protection in the 2015-2016 academic year" and in addition to training and examinations included a cultural program. Interns have the opportunity to visit an air base fire department and the city Rochefort, customs officers’ training school in Rochelle, and cities in the department of Charente Maritime. 

Iryna Popko successfully completed training courses at the International School of French National Gendarmerie of France Rochefort. Representatives of 11 countries participated in the internship, which lasted from 17 February to 10 June and covered various items. Training ended with the awarding of certificates and test in French DELF and DALF, held at the Center for Language Learning in  Royan city.
