The Rescuers who died at the Fire at Vasylkiv were Posthumously Decorated with the Order “For Courage” III Degree (Video)

On 10 September the head of SSES of Ukraine decorated with the order “For courage” the families of the rescuers who died at the fire at petroleum storage depot at Vasylkiv: Anton Basovskii – sergeant of the civil defense service, Maksym Hlazkov – lieutenant colonel of the civil defense service and Andrii Tarasenko – major of the civil defense service. “I am really sorry that these orders they get posthumously. They gave the most valuable- their lives- in the fight against fire. On behalf of all service I pay respects to their families. I understand how difficult is to go through bereavement. I want to assure you that we will remember them,” said the head of SSES of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin. With the minute of silence the relatives and colleagues paid respect to the died rescuers. Reference:  Anton Basovskii, Maksym Hlazkov and Andrii Tarasenko died this year on 9 September at the elimination of fire at petroleum storage depot at Vasylkiv. They were posthumously decorated with the order “For courage” III degree due to the Order of the President of Ukraine № 490/2015.
