British Organization EASST are Planning to Organize Common Projects in the Sphere of Transporty Safety

The Lviv State University of Life Safety was attended by the representative of British organization EASST (Easten Alliance for Safa and Sustainable Transport) Michael Pitt. He met with the first vice-rector of the establishment Myroslav Koval and discussed forecast trends of cooperation in the field of human safety. In particular they discussed the safety on transport.
Michael Pitt told about the organization which he represented and said: ”Our main aim is to improve safety on roads and transport safety, to reduce death on roads. We enlarge the boarders of cooperation to the East and enlarge the number of organizations which must work on that. In Ukraine your establishment is the leader in this and it is the basic in the fielf of human safety. You have a great experience in cooperation with the countries of EU in the projects like this.  That’s why we want to cooperate with you and improve the system of transport safety in Ukraine.”
The first vice-rector of the establishment said that our university is interested in the cooperation and told him about the educational and scientific work of the university in this field.
“Among the 25 trends and professions which are trained at our university there is “Logistics and transport management” and “Organization and management of road”. Our educational establishment takes care about human safety and teaches the culture of the safe behavior. I am sure that our future cooperation will make the situation on the roads and in the field of transport safer,” said Myroslav Koval at the meeting.
