 Dear workers of the Civil Defense Service!

Today we celebrate Emergency Rescuer’s Day and thank those who secure safety and peace of all citizens by risking their lives.

Fighting against the accidents and catastrophes at the rear and on the front you always show the best human qualities: braveness, courage and self-sacrifice. You take people out of fires and out of obstructions; you save from flooding and snowdrifts. You rescue people if their lives are under threat and give them psychological support, supply humanitarian help and renew objects of life support.

I am especially grateful to those who honestly do their duties in the regions of conducting antiterrorist operation.

I wish you firmness, fortitude and belief in yourselves.
