Ukraine is Going on Integrating in European System of Civil Defense, - Mykola Chechotkin (Video)

​On 24 September the closing ceremony of international exercise in elimination of emergency situation “Ukraine” took place in Lviv region.
The chairman of SSES of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin summing up the results of the exercise indicated that all the tasks which the teams-participants faced were done at the highest professional level. “This exercise was very important for us as the units of SSES got the opportunity to practice the way they are to behave in different emergency situations. Jointly organized international exercise proves that Ukraine is going on integrating in European system of civil defense,” said the chairman of SSES of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin.
The chairman of the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre Guenther Bretshneider said that during exercise Ukrainian rescuers showed a very high level at reacting to emergencies. He declared that level of training of the units of SSES let them take part in international rescuing operations together with their foreign colleagues.
