For the first time Liubomyr Huzar visited Lviv State University of Life Safety (VIDEO)

​6 October is a historical event in the life of Lviv State University of Life Safety. The educational establishment was visited by Archbishop Emeritus of Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, its primate in 2001-2011 Liubomyr Huzar. He took part in the round table "Religious denominations and adult education: traditions, values ​​and challenges"which was held as part of International Day of adult education.
The rector of the University Professor Mikhailo Kozyar told the Beatitude about the university, its history and traditions, the system of training in the field of human security. 
Liubomyr Huzar shared his views on the relationship between the Church, science and education. During the conversation they talked a lot about the importance of proper education, instilling Christian principles and values ​​from a young age, the temptations that beset us, and fortitude needed in order not to succumb to them.
Answering one of the questions Liubomyr Huzar said: "The priest should serve people. I never had all the answers, do not have them now. So much I learned and am learning with other people. In my prayers I ask God that he like father took us and we have learned to be responsible people and respect each other. Without this, we do not build a healthy society. "
For decades Liubomyr Huzar remains a moral authority for Ukrainian generation. His television appearances collected a record audience, and expressions instantly become aphorisms. Ukrainian Respect to 82-year-old Archbishop is called a religious social phenomenon. The secret of such popularity of the Beatitude among most people who know him is explained unanimously - the simplicity and wisdom of the Archbishop’s answers on sensitive issues that concern modern man.
