Lviv State University of Life Safety Combined Scientific Elite of Ukraine to Form a Unified Strategy for the Development of Adult Education (VIDEO)

​In Lviv State Universityof Life Safety it is continued work in the framework of the International Day of adult education. It was held a forum "Adult Education as a resource for local development."
The rector of Lviv State University of Life Safety, Professor Mykhailo Kozyar, Academician-Secretary of the Department of professional education and adult education NAPS, professor, academician Nelli Nychkalo, assistant DVV International Eastern Neighbourhood Bettina Brand, the director of the Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional State Administration Oleksandr Nebozhuk, director of the deparament Humanitarian Policy of Lviv City Council Galyna Slichna Professor Georgii Filipchuk, and others took part in the opening plenary session.
At the plenary meeting on behalf of the regions the reports spoke:
Galyna Veremeichyk – the Head of a society registered in Belarus "Deutsher Volkshochul- Verband e. V. "(German Association of People's Universities)
Larysa Lukianova – the Chairman of the Ukrainian Association of Adult Education, the Director of the Institute of Education Adult Education NAPS of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor.
Vinfryd Elvanher – the Director of the People's University (Germany).
In all developed countries at the level of state policy it is recognized that adult education is the basis of society of XXI century.
After the plenary session, participants will work in sections and discuss the  issues of "Economic development and adult education in the region," "Different centers models of adult education as an alternative to formal education in the region," "Adult Education as a resource for community development", "Motivating adults to training", "Family as a subject of adult education: the potential for sustainable development in the region. "
The expediency of adult education is proved  as an integrated system that reflects guarantees and the right of every citizen to continue lifelong education; its focus on human values ​​and ideals of humanism; harmonization of interests of the individual and society, and ensurance of its availability to all segments of the population, creating objective conditions for the maximum development of the individual, personal realization of all potential opportunities that will promote successful adaptation to changing socio-economic conditions and social protection of an adult .
During the Days of Adult Education the participants of various events, which total amount is approxametly 3,000 people, will be made proposals on formation of a unified strategy of adult education at the regional, district and local levels of Lviv region.
The preparation of the International Day of adult education in Ukraine joined: National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Lviv State University of Life Safety, National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Representation of DVV International in Ukraine, National Academy of Public Administration the President of Ukraine, Lviv Oblast and Lviv City Council and others. From 5 to 10 October round tables, opened conferences, Forum on Adult Education Festival educational services for adults and job fair will be held in Lviv State University of Life Safety.
