The Cadets of Lviv State University of Life Safety Overshadowed in Their First Alert

​Solemn first alert dilution took place in a study of fire-rescue Lviv State University of Life Safety. Their first combat duty was taken by the students of the second year. By tradition senior cadets handed fire-fighting and rescue equipment and clothing to their successors. Before their "baptism of fire" cadets passed special training, familiarizing with the basic fire-rescue techniques and equipment, learning to use it during emergencies.
 
On behalf of the rector the first Vice-Rector Myroslav Koval congratulated the students and wished them endurance in difficult matter: "From now honorable and responsible mission lies on you- to protect life and health and to be always ready to come to their aid. You have received theoretical knowledge, and now you will gain practical experience going to all emergencies that happen in Lviv and assist rescuers in liquidation of their consequences. "
 
Also the students were welcomed by the first deputy chief of training and methodological center – the Chief of Fire and Rescue training unit Vasyl Kovalchuk, the Deputy Chief of operational-coordination centre MD SSES of Ukraine in Lviv region Serhii Pekhnyk and others.
 
The pastor of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman wished the young rescuers God's blessing and consecrated the guard.
 
During the past year training Fire-rescue part made over 200 visits to fire and emergencies, participated in large-scale exercise "Ukraine-NATO" and joint exercises within the framework of international security projects.
