Patriotic Sport Games "Cossack’s fun" Took Place at the University

October 16, 2015 on the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks the annual sport and entertainment competition "Cossack funs" was held on the sport complex of LDU LS.
  The organizer and the sponsor of the competition was the Cadets and Students’ government Council with the support of the department of special rescue training and physical education, as well as the department of educational work and social protection. The purpose of this event was the grand honor to the Cossacks‘s history and traditions, promoting active lifestyles and to identify the championship among the representatives of the Institutes of  Fire and Technogennic Safety (IFandTS), Institute of Civil Defense (ICD) and Institute of Psychology and Social Defense (IPandSD). The competition was attended by 50 cadets and students and more than two hundred fans. Participants competed in various forms, demonstrating the coherence of actions in team competitions, as well as leadership in individual tasks.
So, prizes were distributed as follows:
  1st place - team "Lions" 5th year (IFandTS),
  2nd place - "Ardent Heart" 4th year (ICD)
  3rd place - "Maximum" 3rd year (IFandTS),
  Nomination "Steel Warrior" - Mykola Sikora, 4th year Cadet (IFandTS),
  Nominated "The Best Otaman" - Dmytro Zhuravskyi, 4th year Cadet (IFandTS),
  Nominated "The most active cheerleader" – Ivan Tsiuruk, 3rd year Cadet (IFandTS).
