In Lviv State University of Life Safety Began the Fourth Scientific Conference "Informational-Communicative Technologies in Modern Education: Experience, Problems and Prospects" (VIDEO)
21-22 October there is the IV International scientific-practical conference "Informational-Communicative Technologies (ICT) in modern education: experience, problems and prospects" at the Lviv State University of Life Safety. More than 100 prominent scientists from Ukraine and EU countries took part in it. Science forum is devoted to the problems of modernization of education and training competitive specialists adapted to work in conditions of modern technology.
At the plenary session, a report on "Training of rescue services officers to work in extreme conditions," made the rector of Lviv State University of Life Safety Professor Mykhailo Kozyar. Also the reports on topical issues of modernization of education were made by the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, the member of NAPS of Ukraine, academician-secretary of the Department of Vocational Education and Adult Education NAPS of Ukraine Nelly Nychkalo; PhD, Professor, the member of NAPS of Ukraine, Director of information technology and learning NAPS Ukraine Valery Bykov; professor, corresponding member of NAPS of Ukraine Roman Gurevych and others.
Speaking to scientists, the rector of the University, Professor Mykhailo Kozyar said: "Today there is a need for new approaches, tools, technologies that fit into the education system of Ukraine and promote high-quality training. Mankind has entered a new type of civilization - innovation. Its characteristic feature is a constant turnover, dynamic changes. Therefore the education system must prepare future professionals in accordance with the requirements of society and the labour market. The globalized world of modern society requires specialists not only with deep theoretical knowledge but also with the ability to independently apply them adequately in unusual dynamic transient situations based on ICT. A topical issue is the transition from the formation of future specialists in a particular set of competencies vital to the formation of competent citizens with moral and ethical foundation."
All participants are inclined to think that among the most significant problems with the modernization of education is the inability to implement in practice the development of scientists. To implement projects that will help improve the work of relevant professionals need state funding, but it is currently insufficient.
The next day, the participants will work in sections: "Methodological bases and methodological problems of using ICT in modern education", "Theoretical Foundations of informational educational environment", "Management of information security and the culture safety of professional activity", "Training of teaching staff of secondary and higher schools for the creation and use of electronic educational resources ", "Implementation of ICT in vocational schools."
One of the most urgent tasks of modern education and upbringing in Ukraine and the role of information technology in the development of society is to accelerate the process of obtaining, distributing and using the new knowledge society. By enhancing the quality of intellectual resources of society and information technology we improve the quality of life.
