M.Kozyar: "Cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish Rescuers Helped to Counter Global Threats and Challenges"

​October 22 solemn events took place at the Krakow School of the post-graduate students of State Fire Service of Poland. They were dedicated to the 55 anniversary of the school and the Cadets Oath.

The event was attended by the Chief Commandant of the State Fire Service of Poland Weslaw Lesniakevych, the rector of the Lviv State University of Life Safety Mikhailo Kozyar, Poland's deputy minister of education Ursula Avgustyn, the chairman of Lesser Poland Voivodeship Marek Sova, the main commanders of educational institutions and voivodeships of State Fire Safety of Poland.

Mikhailo Kozyar on behalf of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and Lviv State University of Life Safety congratulated the Chief Commandant of the Krakow school of the post-graduate students of State Fire Service of Poland Bohuslav Kohut on the anniversary: ​​"Your institution have already inscribed and, we believe, will go on  inscribing important pages in the history of civil defence of your country and will leave its mark in the European defence space as it train modern highly trained rescue staff. We value our longstanding collaboration, which has helped to strengthen the security of our countries and improve the system of fire-rescuers training."

By the way, Lviv State University of Life Safety cooperate with related educational institutions of Poland for over 15 years, during which many large-scale international projects were implemented that helped our team gain valuable experience, learn to work together during large-scale emergencies as part of cross-border cooperation and confront effectively to global threats and challenges.

We’d like to remind that Poland is the first European country with which our university has established close cooperation. Poles have become reliable partners and friends, and our cooperation yields positive results of training in the field of human security.
