A Student of Lviv State University of Life Safety Visited NATO Headquarters in Brussels
A student of Lviv State University of Life Safety Alexander Yatsuk came back from Brussels, where together with representatives of Ukraine he participated in several events.
In particular, in the framework of the visit the following activities took place: briefing "Current activities of the Alliance"; briefing and discussion "NATO's relations with Ukraine and Russia";
round table with representatives of delegations of member countries of NATO;
Briefing and discussion on the topic "NATO and the Internet broadcast: Alliance in the digital space.
Also there was the meeting of the acting group with Head of the Mission of Ukraine at NATO Yegor Bozhko during which the main attention was paid to measures of the Alliance’s support to Ukraine in confronting armed aggression from Russia, reform of the national security sector and defense forces; role of the media, the Internet as a means of misinformation Russian and foreign citizens.
All participants noted the need to strengthen efforts to inform the Ukrainian public on cooperation between Ukraine and NATO, which is of particular relevance against the background of aggressive rhetoric and propaganda of the Kremlin.
Discussions continued during a dinner organized by the Office of Public Diplomacy Division.
