Lviv State University of Life Safety Conducts Vocational Work With School Students

For students of the 6th year of Lviv secondary school №90 was conducted a tour around the university. During the meeting, there was held a lecture-conversation on the theme "laying the foundations of students’ personal security of elementary norms of behaviour in an emergency situation."
In particular, they visited the practical training of cadets at the training complex for rescue training Mobil Trainer ML 2000, and saw how the students live during the 1st year of studying.
While on campus children got acquainted with the history of the University, its academic and material resources. In particular, they visited the classrooms, a library, a cultural and educational center, office relaxation, sports and athletic halls, visited the museum of the history of the university.
During the tour visitors acquainted with fire and rescue appliances and equipment that is used every day, not only during training sessions, but also in disaster situations.
Teachers, cadets and students constantly deal with the safety of children. They visit schools, conduct explanatory work among students, conduct practical sessions on the use of primary firefighting, providing first aid to victims. It was held interesting and informative classes, shown educational films and stories about the work of rescue workers familiar with fire and rescue equipment, the students were properly trained to act in emergency situations and foster a culture of life safety.
