The Department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogy held a Training Seminar for School Psychologists

November 19 the Department of Applied Psychology and Pedagogy conducted a training seminar for school psychologists of Lviv Sykhiv district on "Psychologists work on preventing violence. Working with psychotrauma "
  Since opening speech the deputy director of the Institute of Psychology and Social Security, candidate of psychological sciences service colonel, assistant professor Volodymyr Slobodianyk, acquainting the participants with the institution, its history, areas of training.
  The deputy head of department, candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor Roxolana Sirko presented the work of the Department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogy and noted peculiarities of psychologists to work in extreme situations, and familiarized the participants with psychological Training Center of the University.
   The teachers of the faculty Yuliia Balebruh and Oksana Stelmach conducted training for school psychologists on "Working with psychotrauma." The purpose of the training was to familiarize the participants with the approach of Gestalt therapy to work with trauma and crisis. After completion of training the psychologists received training materials for working with psychotrauma.
Workshop participants learned about training with our institution, the work of the department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogy, and gained new knowledge for their practice.
