With LSU LS Entry into the European Association EFSCA, for Territorial Subdivisions of SSES of Ukraine Implementation of Large-scale International Projects are Planned

Lviv State University of Life Safety will engage to implement large-scale international projects subdivisions of SSES of Kyiv, Khmelnitsky and Ivano-Frankivsk regions and Higher Vocational School in Vinnytsia. These projects are funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland under the "Polish Aid" and provide for integration of the Ukrainian system of civil protection in the European. A significant practical and financial assistance in their implementation provides leading Polish company «EGERIA», which specializes in the manufacture of fire safety equipment and various simulators for fire.
    According to the spokesman LSU LS Anton Kruk in the nearest future at a working meeting of Rector Mykhailo Kozyar and foreign partners it will be agreed the main stages and timing of international projects: "Each of the above territorial units of SSES of Ukraine will participate in individual projects, which provide theoretical and practical parts, as well as the transfer of our modern rescue fire rescue equipment for emergency response of various kinds."
   In particular, five new units of volunteer fire brigades may appear in Ivano-Frankivsk through the project, which provides increased security in the region.
    MD of SSES of Ukraine in Kiev will implement a project linked to the chemical nature of the emergency that occurred as a result of a terrorist act. Khmelnytsk rescuers join the project associated with an increase in the level of protection of nuclear power plants and prevention of disasters. The staff and cadets of the Higher Vocational School of Lviv State University of Life Safety got the opportunity to improve their professional skills, work out procedure for fire extinguishing in a special cell simulator ML 2000, which is equipped with modern computer-controlled modelling that is able to simulate a fire close to real.  
   "Lviv State University of Life Safety fully integrated into the international security mechanisms. In recent years, thanks to the cooperation with international Polish institutions it managed to sell more than 20 large-scale international projects related to improving the safety of people and responding to emergency situations of natural and man-made. The school could not only gain valuable experience, but modern fire rescue equipment and clothing, some of which were transferred to the units of SSES of Ukraine, "said A. Kruk.
