The Diplomas of Masters’ Degree of Lviv State University of Life Safety are accepted by International Community

December 11 at Lviv State University of Life Safety inauguration of masters’ diploma took place. For the first time in the history of the university, all graduates received international models diplomas of highest educational level and they will perform the functions of implementing the state policy in the field of civil protection of population and territories from emergency situations to prevent their occurrence and state supervision of the observance and implementation of legislation in the relevant areas work in educational and scientific fields.
The rector of the University presented the insignia of lieutenant graduates, and during the academic graduates received diplomas of masters. Mykhailo Kozyar noted it is first in the history of the university that youth receive diplomas and applications of international models and next semester graduates will be trained under the program "Double Diploma" in Warsaw.
The celebration of the release was attended by the Rector of the University, Professor Mykhailo Kozyar, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, academician Nellia Nychkalo, the legendary veteran of the Fire Department, head of the Interior Ministry of USSR, Major-General of Internal Service retired Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Association "Chernobyl" units and troops Pylyp Desiatnykov, Metropolitan of Lviv and Sokal Dymytrii, heads of territorial divisions of SSES of Ukraine of Rivne, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions, a veteran of fire brigade, Major General Retired Petro Tomchyshyn, scientific and pedagogical staff, cadets, students and graduates’ parents.
Overall last year the University has made 4 issues, and that more than 1,000 professionals in different qualification levels in different areas and specialties directly related to human security, including "Fire", "Civil security", "Ecological security", "Cyber security", “Management", "Transportation Technology", "Social Work"," Philology", "Psychology".
Welcoming Masters Mykhailo Kozyar said: "The research and teaching staff of the University makes the educational process in the context of the requirements of democratization and renewal of society, educates cadets and students in a sense of honour, compassion for the grief of others, taught to be objective and truthful and always be on guard of our state, its security. That is now you, dear graduates. I express my sincere appreciation for the hard work, courage and determination. I always remember that honesty, integrity, discipline and legality - the most important virtue of every employee of the State Service of Emergencies of Ukraine. I wish you endurance, inexhaustible energy in the implementation of humane mission and success in serving the Ukrainian people. "
After the presentation of diplomas and awards, the senior priest of the Holy Virgin church Roman Velykyi hallowed masters. They, along with the administration laid flowers to the monument to heroes-liquidators of the Chernobyl accident.
