As Part of the Joint Ukraine-Poland International Project Lifeguards, children are taught the basics of Life Safety

On the basis of fire rescue department of Lviv State University of Life Safety, students of local schools got special practical training of the basics of life safety. Training takes place in the framework of Lviv University of SSES of Ukraine a great international project within the program «Polska pomoc» was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. Children are taught the correct action in extreme conditions, including a fire in residential buildings. During the workshops they have the opportunity to learn how to use fire extinguishers and fire extinguishing skills to work on a special simulator. "We have implemented many joint projects. Teachers, cadets and students constantly deal with the safety of children. They visit schools, conduct explanatory work among students conduct practical sessions on the use of primary fire fighting, providing first aid to victims. It was hold interesting and informative classes, the school students were shown educational films and stories about the work of rescue workers familiarized with fire rescue equipment, properly trained to act in emergency situations and foster a culture of safety of life, "said spokesman of LSU LS Anton Kruk.
