At the University it was showed a performance about the nature of human communication
English Teaching of Foreign Languages and Technical Translation and students of the Institute of Psychology and Social Security took part in staging the play "See the unseen" ("To see the invisible man") based on the story of Robert Silverberg. Students ET-11, ET-21, SR-22 and PP-22 performed their roles in English. The purpose of the play was to reveal the peculiarities of human communication, because in the world there are more than 5,000 languages that help 7 billion people communicate with each other. Through communication, people can share ideas, make friends, do business. The play revealed the circumstances in which an individual deliberately out of context communication. By committing a serious crime against society, the protagonist gets unusual punishment: during the year, living among the people, he was forbidden to communicate. He had to go through 12 months of loneliness, agony, despair and total disregard society of his existence. The viewers’ challenge was to understand whether he could serve his sentence and did not become as callous as the crowd that surrounds him.
