The Cadets worked Tactics of Rescue on Ice (VIDEO)

17-18 February at the Central Rescue diving service in Lviv region at Navariya Nova, there were practical exercises of graduate cadets and students on "tactics rescue victims on the ice." Classes were conducted using modern equipment which was received in the international project "Safe Water". The purpose of the workshops was gaining specialized knowledge and practical skills to perform tasks to rescue people in the water bodies in winter, tactics of rescue and providing first aid to persons who are in danger.
   In conducting classes Associate Professor of fire tactics and rescue operations graduate Vasil Loic and Bogdan Stain involved the Head of the Central Rescue diving service in Lviv region Roman Fits who introduced the tactics and procedures of the use of technical equipment used in the rescue of victims on ice. Also, the cadets, under the supervision of experienced divers, rescuers worked virtually components of simulated rescue situations of fisherman who fell through the ice. The resulting experience will enable future graduates to transfer acquired knowledge in operational and rescue units.
