The University held a Meeting of the Academic Council

February 19 it was held the meeting of the Academic Council of Lviv State University of Life Safety. The opening speech was made by rector, Doctor of Education, Professor Mykhailo Kozyar. 

At the next meeting of the Academic Council of Lviv State University of Life Safety it was heard the following questions: moral and educational aspects and problems with providing educational service and professional tasks; financial and economic activities of the University in 2015; approval of nominations of cadets who have received the excellent grades for the session and good valuation for the payment of increased salaries and other important issues concerning the development of the university in the field of science and innovation.

To improve the morale of cadets at the meeting it was introduced the practice of holding joint meetings with veterans of cadets’ units of civil defence and the University practitioners who have shown courage and heroism at extinguishing fires and elimination of emergencies.
Academic Council of the University adopted the relevant decision in which the task of identifying the direction of units of persons in need of psychological support, engage employees Sector of psychological support to work with them. Also it was approved the provision of diagnostic psychological surveys and interviews to examine the moral and psychological climate of constant and variable composition of the University.

Discussing the financial and economic activity of University Council it was approved the completion of construction work in the dining room and continued refining campus.

The work of the Academic Council was finished Rector Mykhailo Kozyar’s greeting the university staff in obtaining scientific degree of candidate of technical sciences, professor, associate professor and awarded Regional State Administration and Regional Council.
