The University organized and conducted a Tour for Representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine

February 23, 2016 the Department of educational work and social protection for the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, who are trained in the village Starychi Yavoriv district, organized and conducted a tour at Lviv State University of Life Safety, to the military learned about the peculiarities of education and training of future lifeguards.
While on campus visitors acquainted with the history of the University, its academic and material resources. In particular, they visited the classrooms, library, cultural and educational centre, sports and athletic halls, visited the museum of the history of the institution.
During the tour the visitors acquainted with fire-rescue techniques and equipment that is used every day, not only during training sessions, but also in disaster situations.
Militaries were especially interested in familiarity with psychological and training base landfill, where they were able to pass the original test after passing the obstacle. Thus, visitors were convinced by example that the profession of "rescue" requires training, patience and special professional skills, and is extremely necessary for life safety.
