Lviv State University of Life Safety won a grant program of British Council «Internationalization of Higher Education"

In the frame of the program of the British Council "Internationalization of Higher Education" Lviv State University of Life Safety received a two-year grant to develop a partnership with Kingston University (London, UK) for the implementation of measures of mobility and partnerships between higher education institutions in Ukraine and the UK.
So from April 2016 to April 2018 a project cooperation will be held, the main task is defined:
• improve the quality of teaching and improving teaching quality assurance procedures in Lviv State University of Life Safety accordance with the new law of higher education in Ukraine.
• Development of student government and effective, transparent and independent university management.
• promote the integration of Ukraine into the European Higher Education Area by developing and implementing effective strategies for internationalization at Lviv State University of Life Safety and spread them among higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
By the way, this is the second won grant competition in cooperation with Lviv State University of Life Safety and Kingston University. Thus, in December 2015 LDU LS won in the EU program "Erasmus +" for academic mobility projects and joint Master's programs.
The resulting developments within these programs will be further used for planning and preparing joint proposals for appropriate action under grant programs funded by the EU, "Erasmus +" and Horizon 2020.
