Cadets and Students of LSU LS attended Zankovetska Theatre

February 24, 2016 the cadets and students of LSU LS under the supervision of the department of Ukrainian Studies Halyna Hlypavka and the deputy head of the second year of IF ta TS Stepan Witkovskyi visited the Zankovetska Theatre where they watched the play "Either-or" about Olena Teliha, thus they commemorated the memory Ukrainian poet, literary critic and activist of UNO. (February 22, 1942, together with her husband Mykhailo Teliha shot at Babyn Yar by Gestapo).
Touching theatrical performance was very interesting and dynamic, because, besides the characters on the stage and big screen acting, which was showing highlights from the life of the main character and ambiance reflects of the era.
After the performance the cadets and the students had the opportunity to talk to the leading role - Nataliia Lisova. By a brilliant game she revealed the history of the life of Olena Teliha – a charming woman, a brilliant poet, bright public figure - extraordinary personality that the rest of her life does not betray its ideals. According to the actress, "her lifestyle, her invincibility, the ability to be honest to the end - this is the bar, which should be reached by every Ukrainian."
