The Cadets and the University Orchestra joined the Mass Execution of the National Anthem of Ukraine in Lviv Center

Approximately 2,000 guests and residents of the city including cadets of Lviv State University of Life Safety gathered in front of City Hall to sing the national anthem together and thus celebrate the 151st anniversary since its first performance. Lviv citizens sang the full version of Ukrainian anthem.

The highlight of the event was the joint performance of the National Anthem at once by three military brass bands: Lviv State University of Life Safety, Academy of the Army named by Hetman Sahaidachnyi and Western Territorial Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine.

An impromptu flashmob was attended by schoolchildren, students, representatives of local authorities and random passers-by, who also were in the Market Square.

The activists unfurled a huge blue-and-yellow flag with images of musical notes on sheets of paper, created from their own body a trident shape.

Everyone could join to perform the national anthem since the day before the action cards with all the verses of the anthem were distributed to all comers.

Let us remind you that National Anthem of Ukraine was publicly executed exactly 151 years ago in Przemysl - during the first in the Western Ukraine Shevchenko's concert.
