University Cadets Participated in the Interuniversity Scientific Seminar "Shevchenko and Modernity"

March 10, 2016 members of the scientific community, that acts at the department of Ukrainian Studies at LSU LS, took part in interuniversity scientific seminar of cadets and students' Shevchenko and Modernity" held at the National Academy of the Land Forces named after Hetman Sahaidachnyi.
Our students adequately represented LSU LS, they brilliantly made presentations, which demonstrate the deep knowledge of the artistic heritage of the Great Taras, particularly its reflection in the contemporary art ( "Taras Shevchenko in today's youth" (Rehina Zelinska, PS-11), "The problem of emigration in the vision of Taras Shevchenko "(Olena Bartish, PS-21)," Reception of Shevchenko in the XXI century film "(Nadiia Slobodianyk OD-21)," Shevchenko in the contemporary art (evolution of the image) (Bohdan Smereka, IS-21)) .
Ivan Pinchuk (FS-51), pleasantly surprised the seminar participants, expanding its report "Shevchenko in contemporary music interpretation" singing a song on the Taras Shevchenko's poem. Young people read and watch Shevchenko, think and sing with him, because for each Ukrainian generation He is the source from which they draw inspiration, wisdom and strength.
