A student of LSU LS took part in an exchange trip to Mykolaiv

March 8-10 as part of the "Unity in diversity: overcoming stereotypes and conflicts, dialogue between young people of the East, South and West of Ukraine," cadet of LSU LS Victor Povstyn, according to the competition, took part in an exchange trip to Mykolaiv.  
The project is carried out by a public organization "Youth Alternative" in the form of seminars and interactive training using active methods and practices, and funded by the National Endowment for Democracy. Lviv, Ternopil, Ostroh, Lutsk and Mykolaiv students took part in this joint training.
It was discussed the following topics:
- Destruction of stereotypes in the perception of each other;
- Exchange of experience in community activities;
- Training participants to influence the government, forcing authorities to hear the community;
- Establishment of close contacts between active young people to the integral development of sovereign Ukraine;
- The implementation of joint projects aimed at overcoming stereotypes, cultural and historical unity, tolerance and national identity. 
It was also organized a meeting with the mayor Olexander Mykolayev on "European education - opportunities for young people." The participants discussed European education, the challenges facing the Ukrainian towards European integration.During the meeting it was heard the views of participants from different regions and worked out a common vision of resolving conflicts in modern Ukraine. The most active representatives of various regions will be able to go to Kyiv and visit the Ukrainian Parliament, specialized committees and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
