Staff, cadets and students of Lviv State University of Life Safety honored the victims of Holodomor

Within Holodomor Remembrance Day cadets and students participated in the national campaign "Light a Candle".

The event was organized by the Students and cadets government council. Everyone had the opportunity to come to the Virgin of Mercy Church and to pray for those who have suffered from genocide against the Ukrainian people. At 4 pm all the participants joined a nationwide minute of silence and lighted symbolic candles.

During the minute of silence the work was intermitted in government and local authorities, enterprises, institutions and organizations.
