Professional development of Georgian fire-fighters will be conducted at Lviv State University of Life Safety

From December, 6 till December, 10 a delegation from Lviv State University of Life Safety, headed by Rector Mykhaylo Kozyar, paid a visit to Tbilisi, Georgia.

Mykhaylo Kozyar met with the director of the Agency for Emergency Management of MIA of Georgia Zviad Katsashvili. Within the meeting Ukrainian and Georgian sides agreed on a number of technical and legal issues to establish future cooperation. It is expected that coach training and professional development of Georgian fire-fighters will be conducted at Lviv State University of Life Safety. Research and training programs development within cooperation between Georgia and Ukraine was also discussed.

It is necessary to note that last month Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia Mikheil Ukleba visited Lviv State University of Life Safety and had meeting with Rector Mykhaylo Kozyar. During the meeting perspective directions of cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia in the field of human security, exchange of experiences and prevent emergencies, preparation of relevant specialists and cultural and educational exchanges were discussed.
