Students of Lviv State University of Life safety took part in Interuniversity Olympiad on discipline "Law"

Students of Educational and Scientific Institute of Fire and Technogenic Safety (3rd year of study) in the framework of the Law Week took part in the Interuniversity Olympiad on discipline "Law", held at Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after Chernobyl Heroes. The participants performed the test, theoretical and logical tasks.

University representatives were noted among the best participants: Julian-Mykhailo Ivashchyshyn, shared the 1st place with a student from Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety Vladyslav Orlov and Victor Povstyn shared the 3rd place with a student from Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University Kateryna Lavrinenko.

Besides the Interuniversity Olympiad Interuniversity roundtable discussion "Human Rights in Ukraine and problems of its realization in modern conditions" was held. It was dedicated to the Ukrainian Law Week and the International Day Against corruption. Our University was represented by Candidate of Science (Economy), Associate Professor Olga Martyn.

During the event participants discussed the main issues of human rights in Ukraine such as legality ensuring in the public employee’s official duties realization, social security of the Chernobyl disaster liquidators, reforming of the judicial system in Ukraine, etc.
