Professor Victor Holubko was awarded with "Lviv Golden Emblem" by the Lviv Mayor

On January 22, 2017 solemn academy on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Unity took place at Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet. During the event, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi awarded the professor of Humanities and Social Work Department Victor Holubko with "Lviv Golden Emblem" – the highest honour from the Lviv City Council.

The award was given for 'conscientious work, high professionalism, strengthening of patriotic and moral values ​​of the Ukrainian people."

Victor Holubko admitted that it was a pleasant surprise for him to get such a distinction. "It is recognition of my modest achievements in the study of Ukrainian national revolution. It encourages me to work more and more", - he said.
