Representatives of Lviv State University of Life Safety took part in the conference "Mobile Communications in the Global Environment. Mixed Education"

On January 27, 2017 The First Conference "Mobile Communications in the Global Environment. Mixed Education" took place in Kyiv. It was organized with the assistance of Open Online Courses Platform "Prometheus" together with the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

During his speech, Oleg Sharov, Director of Higher Education Department of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine said: "Today Ukraine is not a world leader in e-learning. But these processes develop fast in Ukraine. Many students and teachers are interested in e-learning. «Prometheus» is an important component of e-learning in Ukraine”.

Ivan Primachenko – co-founder of the platform – spoke not only about the online courses, which provide anyone who wants to get modern knowledge, with the lectures of the best professors in the world. He also spoke about the use of such courses in mixed education. The combination of online lectures and auditorium classes raises the efficiency of training a lot. The teacher can monitor how students learn material and direct their efforts to the right direction.
